Bookkeeping and VAT

Bookkeeping should be dealt with regularly, particularly if you have lots of suppliers or provide credit to customers.

If you are VAT registered, this will force you to do it at least once every three months! Seriously, it is important to keep on top of it as it helps with control and planning (see Business Planning) and focuses the mind on how well (or not) the business is doing.

We have vast experience of bookkeeping and completing and submitting VAT returns using an array of software, including cloud applications.

All VAT returns are submitted to HM Revenue and Customs online.
