About Us

GBM Accounts Limited was formed in 2004. The aim has always been to provide a great service at a fair price.

We think that we have consistently achieved our aims. Over the years, we have helped hundreds of small businesses with their accounting requirements. We have many loyal clients, some having been with us since we started.

We currently have a client base of over 200 clients, which includes sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, charities and buy to let landlords. Our clients operate in a variety of sectors, including construction, retail, wholesale, education, financial services and consultancy. We tailor our services to our client’s needs, and our support ranges from ‘once a year’ annual accounts and tax return to more regular help with VAT, CIS and payroll.

Nick Goddard – Managing Director

I started GBM Accounts Limited in 2004 for many reasons. For a long time, I have wanted to work for myself, I wanted to have a better work life balance, and I wanted to help businesses. I am so proud of what we have achieved.

Prior to starting the business, I first worked in accountancy practice, and then spent ten years working in industry. I think this gave me a more rounded view of business.
We are a small team based in Old Cantley, Doncaster. I am a qualified accountant (CIMA qualified), and I am supported by Tracey Tong, Linda Maxfield and Alana Watson.

I am thrilled that we are meeting our short term targets and long term aims, and have been supporting clients through some challenging times. Tax is becoming more complex, and I am proud of our role as trusted advisors.
