As part of the Companies House reforms, there is a new ID Verification requirement in place. This means that directors and shareholders have to verify their ID.
The new ID verification requirement came into force from 18 November 2025.
We have already contacted clients directly who were affected by it in respect of, say, needing to file a Confirmation Statement in the next few months.
However, ID Verification will be required for ALL directors and shareholders.

Successful verification will give you a Companies House personal code. When you have this, could you please pass to us?
We would recommend getting this requirement dealt with sooner rather than later, just in case you encounter any issues.
